The mystery has been revealed in the latest issue of The American Quilter! The mystery quilt is beautiful! Kimberly Einmo's Trail to Paducah Kit is available in our online store! We've had such an overwhelming demand that kits, but they are back in stock. The first and second parts of the directions for the pattern are found in the May and July '08 editions of The American Quilter magazine published by The American Quilter's Society. This quilt is all done is Bali batik fabrics using some very beautiful colors.
Our traditional batik design fabrics are 100% cotton and screen printed using designs that date back more than 1000 years. We guarantee the quality of our fabrics and we know you'll love the designs. Fire Within (left) is an awesome pattern that uses fusible applique to create the glowing piece. The designer embellished the leaves with wonderful stitching and a few crystals to add some sparkle. Borealis (right) just glows! In blue and white it looks like snow, but we can imagine it in Christmas colors and looking like a pretty ornament! The store photo shows this quilt with a black background. I think I need one of each!

Calypso (left) is an exciting pattern that we are making up in all Bali fabrics. No, we don't have it finished yet, but we think it will be one of the prettiest quilts you've seen. Check back in a month or so, or try making one of your own! The Double Wedding Ring (right) is a kit that is pre-cut so that you don't have to fuss with all those tiny pieces. The curves are even clipped so you don't have to worry. Benartex provides this kit with their triple dyed Bali fabrics. It does a beautiful job of mixing the traditional pattern with contemporary Bali fabrics.
